America is one of the most innovative countries in the world.

It is also the wealthiest, contributing nearly 30% of the world's spending on research and development. It is no surprise, then, that American companies feature prominently in our impact investment universe. In September, I took the opportunity to visit Chicago and Washington D.C. to meet with some of these American sustainability leaders.
