Vanguard cuts fees across ETF and index fund range

Follows active fee cuts in June

Vanguard has reduced fees across 36 funds, bringing its average ongoing charges figure to 0.2%, as part of the firm’s latest efforts to offer better value for money to retail investors.

The £4.7trn AUM firm has reduced its fees on 13 ETFs, 22 index funds and the Vanguard Sterling Short-Term Money Market fund. Their UK offering now has an average OCF of 0.2%, with the index mutual fund line-up carrying an average OCF of 0.15% and the ETF index range offering average of 0.1%. It follows fee reductions earlier in 2019 on its UK-domiciled, actively-managed fund range, the bulk of which met their three-year track records in June.
