UBS AM closes £5m Global Strategic Bond fund

UBS Asset Management has closed the Global Strategic Bond fund, which holds less than £5m in assets, effective from 29 September.

Launched in October 2018, the fund was managed by fixed income specialists Alexander Wise, Jerry Jones and Kevin Ziyi Zhao.  Columbia Threadneedle shutters CT Asia Pacific Equity fund As of 29 September, the strategy held £4.7m in assets under management. According to data from FE fundinfo, investors have pulled more than £13m from the fund in the last 12 months.  In the last three years, the fund is down 4%, while the IA Sterling Strategic Bond sector has lost 6.8%.
