AIC: Trust managers highlight their biggest concerns for 2018

According to the 2017 fund manager poll by the Association of Investment Companies (AIC), investment trust managers are generally positive about the outlook for equities in 2018, particularly in Europe and emerging markets, while they named Brexit and potential interest rate volatility as their key concerns.

The poll found managers are positive on the outlook for equities next year, but Brexit and interest rates are causing them concern. Equities remain the asset class likely to perform best in 2018 according to 60% of managers polled, though this is more cautious than the previous year's figure of 76%.
