Jeremy Tigue will end his role as the longstanding manager of the highly rated Foreign & Colonial investment trust next month. Tigue, one of the longest serving managers in the sector, has played an important role in the history of the fund, which he has run since 1997. For much of that period, the cautiously managed portfolio has returned solid, although admittedly unspectacular, results for investors.
