Smith & Williamson hires Savills director to grow family office service

Smith & Williamson has appointed former Savills director Rupert Phelps as a partner responsible for developing its family office services.

Phelps (pictured) will be responsible for developing client and intermediary relationships and business opportunities across Smith & Williamson's £17.5bn family office department. He was previously director of Savills' family office services, and has also held a similar position at BNY Mellon.
