The US stockmarket has seen a remarkable start to 2017. But while growth prospects are good, there is a note of caution in the air.

Despite solid economic reasons to support the market's surge since the election, gains may have rushed slightly ahead of themselves.  A pullback is looking likely but do not fear that it signals the end of the bull market.  Recent data shows the US economy is growing. Manufacturing and non-manufacturing indices have risen this year and we have seen encouraging numbers from retail sales.  The labour market remains tight enough to keep wage growth on an upward trajectory and earnings season was received positively.  This good news appears to be filtering through to rising inflatio...
