A free online platform has been launched to provide product comparison tools and DFM profiles, enabling financial advisers to research potential firms with which to partner on an outsourced basis.

Backed by support services company Bankhall, DISCUS (Discretionary Investment Services Coming Under Scrutiny, pronounced 'discuss') is run by founding directors Gillian Hepburn, former Standard Life business development officer, and Abbie Knight (pictured), who has held roles at Invesco Perpetual and Henderson. The online service will allow financial advisers to learn more about the solutions on offer within the outsourced investment market and find the right partner for their clients and business.
