iShares poaches EMEA product head from Barclays Wealth

BlackRock's ETF platform iShares has appointed Tom Fekete from Barclays Wealth as head of product development in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA).

In January, former head of iShares' product development for EMEA Axel Lomholt moved to rival ETF provider Vanguard Asset Management to become head of product, international. Fekete was EMEA head of investment products and global head of FX advisory at Barclays Wealth since 2009. He also previously headed the structured solutions team at UBS and was then promoted to lead the products and services distribution arm.
