Former Wells Fargo AM head of fixed income EMEA resurfaces as Impax bond chief

Impax Asset Management has hired Ross Pamphilon as its head of fixed income, a newly created position at the firm.

Pamphilon joins the asset manager to run the growing number of fixed income fund managers and analysts within Impax's listed investments team. The team runs strategies within US investment grade and US high yield, and has fixed income assets under management and advice of £1.4bn. Appetite for bonds not abating in face of 'exaggerated' 5% Treasury yields Pamphilon will be based in London and report to Charles French, deputy chief investment officer for listed investments.
