Curt Custard departs CIO role at Newton to return to US

Takes on global head of client solutions role

Curt Custard has left his role as chief investment officer of Newton in order to move back to the US for family reasons.

He has not left the firm, but has adopted a new role as global head of client solutions, which Newton has stated will enable Custard to "balance his professional and family commitments". Euan Munro named CEO of BNY Mellon IM's Newton In his new role, he will "work with clients and prospects globally to understand their investment challenges" and will remain a "strong advocate for [Newton's] thematic and responsible investment approach".
