Charles Stanley appoints Allfunds alongside Cofunds

Picked for ability to hold non-sterling assets

Wealth manager Charles Stanley has appointed Allfunds as a funds platform provider to make use of features not currently supplied by its existing platform provider Cofunds.

Charles Stanley has used Cofunds for around four years, but said it is not able to hold assets in non-sterling denominations. As a result, the group decided to take on Allfunds as an additional platform to provide this feature to its clients. The wealth manager also cited its ability to provide a single legal agreement for transacting the huge number of funds on its platform, and to provide segregated accounts to wealth managers - an area that is seeing growing demand.
