BMO Global Asset Management has appointed Stewart Bennett to the newly created role of global head of alternatives, as the group promotes its new alternatives offering.
Bennett will oversee the division, which covers BMO's private equity, real estate and real estate securities businesses, and will be responsible for developing and executing its alternative investments global growth strategy. He will join the group next month and will be based in London, where he will report to Kristi Mitchem, CEO of BMO Global Asset Management.
