Aviva Investors appoints head of multi-asset funds; Samouilhan departs

Manager leaves after seven years

Aviva Investors has hired Sunil Krishnan from Santander AM as head of multi-asset funds, while senior fund manager Nick Samouilhan is leaving the firm.

Krishnan, who will report to global head of multi-assets Peter Fitzgerald, joins from Santander Asset Management where he was a senior portfolio manager responsible for outcome-oriented funds and asset allocation strategy. Aviva Investors builds four-strong investment sales team Prior to Santander, Krishnan worked at Hermes Investment Management as head of global asset allocation. He also previously served as a multi-asset portfolio manager and strategist at BlackRock and as head of market strategy on the BT Pension Scheme.
