Artemis grows fixed income team with new appointment

Bond fund range set to grow

Artemis Investment Management (IM) has poached Jack Holmes from Kames Capital as the fifth member of their new fixed income team.

Holmes will be moving into the role of fixed income manager for Artemis IM from 26 June. The group said this latest fixed income hire highlights its focus on growing its efforts in the asset class. Artemis has also confirmed that, subject to regulatory approval, it will soon be launching a Short-Dated Global High Yield Bond UCITS fund, to be managed by David Ennett and Stephen Baines. Jasper Berens, head of distribution, also hinted at further, subsequent launches. Holmes was previously an investment manager of fixed income at Kames Capital where he worked since September 2016. ...
