M&G's Woolnough bags £15m pay package

M&G's fixed income manager Richard Woolnough received a hefty pay package in 2014, larger than that of parent company Prudential's CEO Tidjane Thiam, according to reports.

According to Sky News, the manager (pictured) took home a pay packet worth between £15.3m and £15.4m in 2014, the second year in a row that his pay award topped £10m. Outgoing Prudential CEO Thiam took home £11.8m in pay and benefits in 2014, the firm's annual report shows. In 2013, Woolnough received a pay award of £17.5m, a figure more than double the salary of the Prudential CEO.
